Patience Musa is not only a multifaceted entertainer but also a devoted mother. She is proud to be the daughter of the well-known cartoonist Hassan Musa.
Education
Patience’s educational path took her through Alfred Beit Primary School and Avonlea Primary School for her primary education. She later pursued her secondary education at Hatfield High School and continued her studies at the Christian College of Southern Africa. Additionally, she honed her skills in graphic design at Harare Polytechnic, earning a Diploma in Graphic Designing.
Career Highlights
Patience Musa’s journey into the world of music began in 1999, when she, along with Willom Tight and Mateo Kaunda, formed the group Mateo and Friends. They released hits like “Asambe Africa” and “Pamuhacha.” She also lent her vocals to various local artists, showcasing her versatility and talent.
In 2000, she collaborated with Mateo Kaunda on the successful album “Impressions Of Africa Volume Two.” Patience actively participated in significant campaigns such as “Artists Against Aids” and “Artists Against Poverty.” She graced the inaugural Harare International Festival of the Arts in 1999, performing with Mateo and Friends.
As her musical journey evolved, she released her own albums, including “Patie” in 2010. She had the honour of sharing the stage with renowned musicians like Brenda Fassie, Dorothy Masuku, Oliver Mtukudzi, Andy Brown, and Busi Ncube.
TV and Radio
Patience Musa’s talent extended to the realm of television. From hosting the reality show “Tourism Challenge” on ZBC to becoming a presenter on ZiFM Stereo’s program “The XhaleBlock,” she has seamlessly transitioned between different forms of media.
