Early Life and Education
Passion Java was born on October 29th, 1987 as Panganai Java. His parents were Christine and Charles Java. He grew up in Seke Chitungwiza, where he received his education.
Marriage and Family
Passion Java has been married twice. His first wife was Prophetess Yasmin, with whom he had a son named Uebert Java. They divorced in late 2015.
In February 2016, he married Lily Tsegaye, who is of Ethiopian origin. They have three sons: Lemuel Java, Raphael Java, and Uriel Java.
Ministry and Church
Passion Java began his ministry work at his brother’s church, Tabernacles of Grace, led by Apostle B Java. He later established his own church called Kingdom Embassy in 2010 at the Chitungwiza Aquatic Complex. He initially served as a prophet and gained fame for predicting the phone numbers and ID numbers of audience members during services.
In 2013, he launched a satellite television channel called Kingdom TV for his church, in partnership with ViewSat Limited, a UK-based telecommunications company. He also claimed to have performed a miraculous abortion on a woman who was four months pregnant, which caused controversy.
In 2013, he changed the name of his church from Kingdom Embassy to Passion Java Ministries. He has published several books on prophetic topics, such as Manifesting Your Dream World (2013), Prophetic Secrets (2014), Fourteen Types of Angels (2017), and Interpretation – Who Is Your Interpreter (2018).
Music and Entertainment
Passion Java has been involved in the promotion of Zimdancehall music in Zimbabwe since 2018. He has worked with artists like Enzo Ishall and Roki, as well as producers like Levelz.
He has also sponsored riddims featuring various Zimdancehall artists, such as the Prophet Passion Riddim (2019) by Tman or Mount Zion and JMP (Jeeperz), and the Passion Java Riddim (2019) by Chill Spot Records.
In addition, he established a recording studio under the name Passion Java Records. The studio is equipped with modern recording equipment and is soundproofed to ensure quality recordings.
