Kudzai Chengedza discovered her passion for theatre and arts after completing her accounting studies. She joined the Patsime Edutainment Trust, a theatre organisation, in 2016 and learned how to act and write scripts. She also wrote her first play in 2019 and performed it in Sweden.

Kudzai Chengedza has faced some controversies in her personal life. She was accused of being a home wrecker by another woman who claimed that Kudzai had an affair with her husband. Kudzai denied the allegations and said that she was happily married to her own husband.
