NAMA Awards
He has won two NAMA Awards in Zimbabwe, including the People’s Choice Award after he beat heavyweight, gospel artist Dorcas Moyo and sungura maestro Alick Macheso, at the 21st edition of the annual National Arts Merit Awards (Nama) held in March 2023.
In addition, Chigumira won the Outstanding Social Media Skits Award ahead of Admire Mushambi, better known as Mama Vee and Kudzanai Chengedza aka Mbuya vaPiyasoni.
