Sometime in 2020, more than 100 families were left homeless following a High Court Order that saw demolitions of houses in Budiriro, Harare.
Affected families were left counting losses as they helplessly watched bulldozers destroying a place they once called home.
In some of the images that were circulating on social media at that time, a handful of defiant householders were seen trying to stand in front of a council bulldozer in an attempt to block it from demolishing their properties but to no avail.
