Herman is a Zimbabwean musician who became famous after his debut song “Zvandinofarira” was a breakout hit. He is also a talented dancer, an author, and a motivational speaker. He is one of the young acts changing the face of the Zimbabwean music industry.
Real name and Early Life
Herman’s real name is Mukombe Mupelo Herman, and he was born on 3 August 2008. He is of Zimbabwean Congolese heritage. His parents are Mugeni Mukunda and Ebondo Kitunda, and they live in Waterfalls, Harare.
Education
Herman is a form 2 student at Churchill High School in Harare. He was awarded an educational scholarship by President Emmerson Mnangagwa in 2021. The scholarship will cover his education costs till he finishes his tertiary education.

Music career
Herman started his music career in 2020 when he released his debut single, “Zvandinofarira”, as a freestyle. The song was an instant hit, and Levels from Chillspot Recordz decided to record the freestyle into a full song. The song achieved massive success, with the video trending at number one in Zimbabwe. The video was directed by Vusa Blaqs, and the clothes were supplied by Boss Andy of 1202 Herbal.
Since then, Herman has released more songs and collaborated with some of the most prominent artists in the country, such as Sabastian Magacha and Poptain. He has also performed at various events, including the Children’s Independence Party hosted by President Mnangagwa and First Lady Auxilia Mnangagwa at State House in 2021.
Herman’s girlfriend and Love life
Herman is not dating anyone at the moment. He said that he was too young to have a girlfriend and that he was focusing on his music and education. He had previously dated Benene Bee, a South African woman, but they broke up after three months due to infidelity allegations. He had also dated Khanya Mankayi, a Zimbabwean woman, but their relationship status is unclear.
Modelling and Books Written
Herman is also a model and a brand ambassador for Style by Minnie, a fashion boutique owned by Vice President Constantino Chiwenga’s wife, Colonel Miniyothabo ‘Minnie’ Baloyi. He models for the Kids & Teen Hub section of the boutique.
Herman is also an author and a motivational speaker. He has written a book called “The Journey of My Life”, which chronicles his life story and challenges. He has also given motivational speeches at schools and events.
