Ezekiel Guti Junior was born on 13 December 1982.
Ezekiel Guti Junior, the son of Archbishop Ezekiel Guti Senior and Eunor Guti, led a remarkable and fulfilling life in his short time on Earth.
He tied the knot with Caroline Katsande on April 5, 2003, marking the beginning of their marital journey. Together, they were blessed with three children:
- Eutricia Eunor, named after his beloved mother.
- Ezekiel III, named in honor of his father, the esteemed Archbishop.
- Dorcas III, a namesake of her great-grandmother.
Dr. Ezekiel Guti Jr. faced physical disability and speech impairment from an early age. Despite these challenges, he was determined to defy the limitations imposed by his condition and lead a fulfilling life. He chronicled his inspiring journey in his book titled “The Man Who Defied Condition.”
In his book, he shared personal experiences of overcoming adversity, showcasing his unwavering determination and resilience. Ezekiel Guti Jr.’s life story serves as a beacon of hope for those facing similar challenges, proving that with determination and the right mindset, one can triumph over any obstacle.
At the launch of his book, his father, Archbishop Ezekiel Guti Senior, shared an empowering message, stating, “I am a living testimony that giving birth to a child who is physically disabled is not a curse from God. Some parents even divorce or reject such children, but we must embrace and love them as they are.”
He emphasized that every life has value and purpose, irrespective of physical abilities, and condemned those who resort to violence against disabled individuals.
Tragically, on December 27, 2017, Ezekiel Guti Jr. passed away in South Africa while battling for his life in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The circumstances surrounding his death pointed to an unfortunate accident where he allegedly fell into a swimming pool.
At the time of his passing, he was only 34 years old. His departure left a void in the hearts of his loved ones and all who were inspired by his perseverance and determination in the face of adversity.
