Age

Enzo Ishall, whose real name is Stephen Kudzanai Mamhare, was born on 23 April in 1994.

Education

He completed his Ordinary Level education at Churchill Boys High and later pursued his Advanced Level studies at Phoenix College, achieving an impressive 7 points.

Career

Enzo’s journey into the music industry began at a young age when he developed a love for Dancehall music at just 6 years old. He started writing songs during his primary school years, seeing music as his path to a better life.

After his graduation, he crossed paths with Fantan and Levels, the owners of Chill Spot Records, the label that would eventually sign him. He recorded his first song at the age of 15, marking the beginning of his musical career. In 2018, he released his debut single, “Chiita Kwacho,” which garnered positive feedback and put him on the musical map.

However, it was his hit track “Kanjiva” that catapulted him to fame, earning him numerous accolades and establishing him as a prominent figure in the Dancehall music scene.

Personal Life

Before rising to fame in the music industry, Enzo Ishall was married to Trish, and the couple has a son together. Unfortunately, their relationship took a regrettable turn when Enzo was reportedly assaulted by his wife over a WhatsApp status he posted on Christmas day. A few months later, he publicly announced their separation and moved in with his parents. He revealed that he had been a victim of daily physical abuse from his wife, often due to unpaid bride price.

In 2022, Enzo Ishall made headlines again when he proposed to his model girlfriend, Melissa Mafadzwa, on her birthday. However, their relationship took another twist, with reports surfacing that they had called it quits and unfollowed each other on social media.

Awards

Enzo Ishall’s talent has been recognized with several awards, including:

  • “Best Video” at the 2018 Coca-Cola Top 50 Awards
  • “Best Newcomer” and “Best Zimdancehall” at the 2019 Star FM Music Awards
  • “Song of the Year” at the NAMAs, among others.

Politics

In 2023, Enzo Ishall ventured into politics under his real name, Kudzanai Mamhare, by participating in the Zanu-PF primary elections. He ran for a position in the Sunningdale constituency and received a total of 7 votes out of 1,385. This move garnered attention on social media, where many Zimbabweans humorously referred to him as “007” on various platforms.
