Club Career

Jalai’s initiation into the realm of football commenced in 2013 when he caught the eye of talent scouts during the U-16 Coca-Cola tournament, leading to his enrollment in the esteemed Aces Youth Academy.

Transitioning through various clubs, Jalai’s career trajectory witnessed twists and turns. A notable stint with How Mine in 2018 was overshadowed by the club’s decision to transfer ownership to Harare City, forcing Jalai to return to his roots at Aces. Despite these challenges, Jalai’s perseverance shone through.

It was during the Cosafa tournament in Zambia in 2019 that Jalai’s fortunes took a dramatic turn. Dynamos coach Lloyd Chigowe, captivated by Jalai’s prowess on the field, extended an invitation for trials, ultimately leading to his recruitment.

Fast forward to the 2023 season, Jalai’s dedication and talent were duly recognized as he assumed the role of vice-captain under the leadership of the Hebert Maruwa-led Dynamos technical team.
