Embarking on her radio journey at Power FM, one of Zimbabwe’s leading radio stations, DJ Chamvary made her debut in 2012. Her vibrant and engaging personality swiftly garnered attention and a loyal listenership. Initially, she showcased her talents as a radio host on the 629.com Breakfast Show at Power FM. As her capabilities became increasingly evident, she transitioned to the lunchtime radio show, curating the highly regarded interview program “Centre Stage.” Her exceptional skills and unwavering commitment earned her the prestigious Outstanding Journalist – Radio NAMA Award, solidifying her influence during her tenure at Power FM.
Turning a New Chapter
In August 2022, DJ Chamvary bid farewell to Power FM, concluding a significant chapter in her career.
Thriving at ZiFM Stereo
In an exhilarating turn of events, DJ Chamvary embarked on a fresh chapter by joining the ranks of ZiFM Stereo, a prominent radio station in Zimbabwe. ZiFM Stereo enthusiastically welcomed DJ Chamvary to their lineup, recognizing her potential to further enrich the radio industry. Presently, she takes the helm of the eagerly anticipated “Big Show” on ZiFM Stereo, captivating listeners every weekday from 10am to 2pm.
