Candice Mwakalyelye, fondly known as NdiCandice or Malkia, the Lion Queen, is a multi-talented media luminary hailing from Zimbabwe. Her impressive portfolio encompasses roles as a TV and radio broadcaster, skilled media practitioner, and a proficient Master of Ceremonies (MC). In addition to her influential presence in broadcasting, she lends her captivating voice to various voice-over projects. As their cherished ambassador, she proudly represents esteemed brands, including DeeKawZee Accessories and Make-up By Gamu.

Born on 8 August 1986, Candice Mwakalyelye has become a prominent figure in the media industry at a relatively young age. Embarking on a Remarkable Career

Candice Mwakalyelye’s journey through the realms of media commenced in March 2008 when she stepped into the role of a breakfast show presenter at East Africa Television Limited in Tanzania. This role marked her initial foray into the broadcasting world, a position she gracefully occupied until August 2008. Notably, from July 2006 to September 2008, she also served as the English News Editor for the same esteemed broadcaster, showcasing her versatile skills.

Her professional trajectory then led her to the Vodacom Foundation in November 2008, where she actively contributed as an officer until October 2009. During her tenure at Vodacom, she embraced the role of a proficient Master of Ceremonies (MC), presiding over significant events like the Zanzibar International Film Festival in June 2009 and the Music Crossroads Local competition in Dar es Salaam in July 2009.

Transitioning her expertise, she joined Y & R Group Ltd- Silver Bullet in October 2009, assuming the role of a capable public relations account manager until December 2012. Demonstrating her versatile skills, she moved significantly to ZiFM Stereo in August 2012. Her impactful presence resonated through the station until October 2016, when she decided to explore fresh avenues in her illustrious career.
