Brian Muza, a talented footballer from the heart of Zimbabwe, currently graces the pitches as a forward for Chicken Inn Football Club in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League. Beyond his prowess in the forward position, Muza has showcased his versatility by also excelling in midfield and as a wingback.


Brian Muza entered the world on March 12, 1997, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey in the realm of football.


The seeds of Muza’s passion for football were sown during his days at Rushungo Primary School in 2010. Representing Masvingo Province in a national tournament that year ignited his love for the sport. Despite facing financial hurdles, Muza pursued his education through football scholarships, navigating through Mwenezi High School and Nikita High School.

Club Career

During his formative years, Muza plied his trade with FC Maranda, a team birthed by the vision of Ephat Shoko, a former Border Strikers official. Despite facing challenges in realizing his dreams with FC Maranda, Muza’s talent caught the eye of Innocent Sibanda, a benevolent soul who facilitated his transition to the bustling city of Bulawayo.

Under the mentorship of Mduduzi Mpofu at Casmyn, Muza began to carve his path in the soccer landscape, showcasing glimpses of his potential. Talen Vision provided Muza with the platform to truly shine, with his goal-scoring prowess earning him accolades and recognition.

In the year 2020, Muza embarked on a new chapter with Chicken Inn, a move laden with promise and anticipation. Despite the hurdles posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, Muza’s debut in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League heralded the beginning of a remarkable chapter in his career.

Brian Muza’s talent and dedication were duly recognized in February 2022, as he clinched the prestigious title of the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League’s Best Player. Additionally, Muza’s stellar performances earned him a well-deserved spot among the Soccer Stars of the Year for the 2022 season.
